Sony Pictures Entertainment India presents TAROT 2024 | HORROR

When a group of friends recklessly violates the sacred rule of Tarot readings – never use someone else’s deck – they unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate and end up in a race against death to escape the future foretold in their readings.

TAROT reading and horror go hand in hand in a film called Tarot released this 3rd May and it promises to be a film with a new and innovative storyline along with a star-studded cast that covers the tradition of tarot reading.

Tarot-related practices date back to the mid-fifteenth century but didn’t have any ties to any other cults until the late 18th century when they came in tandem with occultists.

Back in the day, the trend began with two kinds of types of decks, one used just for astrology games while the other deck was for divination and future predictions.

A popular French occultist and tarot researcher known as Jean-Baptiste Alliette worked on the first deck of cards for the sole purpose of cartomancy back at the end of the 1700s.
When some particular cards are pulled from the deck for Tarot reading, they can give a brief into what the future holds for them along with what the obstacles set along the path for the person.

Sony Pictures alongside Screen Gems have joined forces with Alloy Entertaiment and Ground Control, to create a new horrifying spin on tarot reading.

Moreover, the film feature a star-studded cast including the likes of Avantika, Jacob Batalon, Harriet Slater, Adain Bradley, Humberly González, Olwen Fouéré, and more, according to a Collider report.

Spenser Cohen and Anna Halberg have done a splendid job in brainstorming the plot which has been pivotal in the rise of popularity of this film.

The takeaway from the film will include a unique thought process that will grasp the audience’s attention and depict a story that may work like a charm to steal the spotlight.
